Nick Martin MSc

Following nine years as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young and Decathlon, both in the UK and France, Nick has been working in management development since 1994.  His first work in this area was with the Outward Bound Trust, running outdoor management development programmes in Scotland and the Lake District.  Since then he has been focusing on organisational change, team development, leadership development, and coaching.  Nick has worked with groups and teams from companies in construction, banking, insurance, transport, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and public sector. 

 

As well as Open Minds, Nick is an associate trainer for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and Interaction.  He also has his own coaching practice, and is accredited in a number of psychometric instruments.

  • Behavioural and cultural change programme for a major construction company
  • Leadership development workshops – both open enrolment, and for clients in the finance and facilities management sectors
  • Design and delivery of a coaching skills programme for a local authority
  • Team leader development programme for a government agency
